The owner of Sarasota Paint & Manatee Paint, David began working at Sarasota Paint in 1983 for a previous owner. He has loved the paint business ever since. His parents purchased the store and ran it for a number of years until in 2000 they retired and Dave bought Sarasota Paint. From that day on he never looked back. Under his ownership Sarasota Paint has expanded in its Sarasota location and Manatee Paint was opened in January 2003. Dave has assembled a staff that works well together and gives excellent customer service. He always goes the extra mile to make sure that his customers are satisfied.
Dave is married to Kristi and they have four children. Dave has realized a lifelong dream of purchasing a boat so he spends many of his days off on the water fishing with his family.
Charlie had many years of experience in the retail market in his dad's grocery store in Clearwater. He has been working in the paint industry since 2000. One of Charlie's strong points is inventory control. He is largely responsible for purchasing for Sarasota Paint and his abilities enable our store to be well stocked while keeping our prices as low as possible. One of his goals is to meet and exceed our customer's expectation of great customer service.
Charlie is married to his best friend, Rachel and they have five beautiful children. He enjoys camping with his family as well as other outdoor activities. He is an avid car fan and enjoys taking in the car shows that come in to town.
Having joined the Sarasota Paint team in 2003 at the suggestion of her son Harry, Pat soon distinguished herself as a hard worker and dedicated employee. Shouldering much of the office burden that had kept Dave from his time out in the store, Pat became one of the main order takers as well as one of the most well known phone voices in Sarasota Paint history. Her cheerful demeanor and pleasant voice will let anyone and everyone know that their business and patronage is greatly appreciated.
Pat is the proud mother of two wonderful sons who are both married. She became a grandmother for the first time in 2009 and looks forward to the future of enjoying her expanding family.
After moving to Sarasota from his home town of St. Augustine in 2006, Chris started work at Sarasota Paint Company. In a short time his ideas and willingness to do even the most menial of tasks made him an important team member. Chris also handles Sarasota Paint Company's Graco and Titan spray equiptment lines. Though his time of employment may be shorter than many of the other employees, his dedication shows that he will be a valuable team member for a long time.
Chris is married and enjoys spending time with his beautiful bride Amanda. He is a fan of good quality drums as well as pistols and armaments. He enjoys going down to the gun range when he has the time.
Starting out as a stock boy and delivery driver in 2002, Harry worked his way from the bottom, beginning at age 18. After several months of experience his instruction in basic paint tinting began, guided by the experience of the store's owner, David Jasik. In 2003 Harry became a 'Certified Color Consultant' and began working with the public on a much more regular basis. When 'Manatee Paint', our Bradenton location, opened for business he was given the position of Store Manager. Harry has a wonderful family including his beautiful wife Stephanie and his new son born in April of 2009. He is a dedicated husband and father, spending most of his days off and vacation on quality time with his family.
